True blue treasure

This modern home was “The Australian Dream” come to life for its new family – who had relocated from the UK and wanted to build a lifestyle to suit adult and teen tastes alike. They were referred to us by two different generations of happy clients, so we were thrilled to be able to create their dream and grow yet another branch on our ER client ‘family’ tree.

The outdoor terrace nestled under the main roof, faces north to capture the best of Queensland’s sunny climate.  And as this home was designed specially to accommodate night shift workers, the two main bedrooms are intentionally located in separate parts of the house, and the façade has been elongated to maximise the width of the block.

Choice of materials for the home’s 3 bathrooms (including the two main bedrooms with their individual ensuites) gave rise to dynamic organic features including Electric Graphite benchtops and doors of Stringy Bark.

Generous proportions and stunning design make the kitchen a popular spot that reveals much about our clients’ personalities. The flawless 2-Pack cabinetry finish with black mirror-glass splashback makes it radiate energy and life, but without doubt the piece-de-resistance is the Essentially Residential signature ‘feature wall’ guaranteed to get visitors talking.  It’s a kitchen that reveals much about our clients’ personalities, and little wonder that friends are happy to gather and lend a hand in preparing the meal or simply relax, eat, drink and have a chat.
