Then & Now - WOW!

This extraordinary renovation has transformed what was the owner’s childhood home, into a swank, resort-style haven for a young professional family.

First to go was the dated facade, to make way for a shining new face evocative of the trends and styling of today.  The imposing new facade features external cladding in James Hardie Linea, Scyon and Matrix products, and a designer timber garage door to provide a natural bond with the environment.

One of the most critical elements of the renovation was the design of the upper level parents retreat.  Our brief included a desire to replicate the clients’ favourite weekend destination in Noosa – the result, an outdoor spa bath looking into the treetops. No better place for a busy couple to unwind at the end of the day.

The renovation had to successfully marry the new with existing elements of a renovation we had carried out for these clients several years earlier.  It tells a story throughout of striking sophistication – imported marble feature wall tiles in the ensuite and main bathroom, new stone kitchen benches and added cabinetry, and invisible matching of the timber floor species to the existing Fraser Island tongue and groove flooring.
